The Experience

Your love story is like no one else's, and it should be treated as such. When you book me as your photographer, your experience will be tailored to your unique vision. While all of my couples will go through these steps with me, no journey to a wedding day will look exactly the same!

Frequently Asked Questions

I. How do I secure my date?

Booking me as your wedding photographer begins once you have toured my website and social media pages to ensure you love my style of photography.

Your next step is to fill out my inquiry form so that we can schedule a virtual meeting to discuss any additional questions you may have. During our meeting, we will also discuss your vision for your wedding day! This is one of my favorite parts of the booking process.

Once we have concluded our meeting and we have decided that we are a perfect fit, I will create a customized proposal for you. This proposal includes a description of all the services I will provide for you before, during, and after your wedding day.

The last step in the booking process is signing our contract and paying the deposit.

II. Do you give out RAW (unedited) images?

No, I do not provide any unedited images.

III. Do you have any travel fees?

I do not charge travel fees within 60 miles of Washington DC, which is where I am based.

If you are planning a destination wedding, travel/lodging fees will be discussed during our initial meeting.

IV. Why do you recommend at least 8 hours of coverage?

My wedding collection comes with 8 hours of coverage because that is the amount of time I will need as your photographer to capture the full story of your wedding day, from your bridal details to your grand exit.

The last thing I want you to do is stress about fitting every piece of your day into a short photography timeline! By providing at least 8 hours of coverage, I ensure that you won't have to choose between "getting ready" photos and capturing your grand exit.

V. Why do you bring a second photographer?

My wedding photography collections include a second photographer so that every moment of your love story can be documented. My second photographer typically captures the groom and groomsmen getting ready, your cocktail hour, guest reactions to your ceremony, and more.

My second shooter also assists me in making sure your family portraits go smoothly and quickly so that you can get to your cocktail hour!

VI. Will our photos be featured on your website, social media pages, or in print/online publications?

I love to be able to showcase my couples and their weddings! It also helps me attract clients and show them how I work. However, I want to respect your privacy and will always give you the option to keep your photos off social media.

There are many online and print publications that love to showcase real couples and weddings (like Style Me Pretty), and with your permission, I would love to submit images from your wedding!

Your wedding is important to me too.

Let's connect.
